Events NQ is a 'green workplace'. Working in close proximity to 2 World Heritage regions Events NQ has always been focused on protection of the local environment.
Equipment hire for the event industry has a light carbon footprint, everything is continually recycled and re-used, and in essence it's the original 'enviro industry'.
Initial equipment manufacture, transport and cleaning are the only processes which contribute carbon as Events NQ does not manufacture or distribute goods.
Responsible practices of cleaning include – High pressure systems (reduced water usage), use of natural cleaning products, splitter systems for responsible waste management, air drying, hand polishing and high levels of recycling are implemented throughout the company.
Sustainable practices and a 'green field' approach are followed at all off site events. Off site events produce a low carbon footprint due to the use of fuel efficient vehicles, safe collection of all waste and grey water in holding tanks for removal, sites are monitored to guard against damage and cleaned post-event to ensure they are returned to their 'green field' status.
