At HABA we put our philosophy on ecologically sustainable tourism into practice. Deliberate and conscientious actions are implemented daily by our crew and staff to conserve our resources, to be eco-friendly, to share our knowledge and passion of the Reef with our guests. We try to ensure that after our guests snorkel and dive the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef, at the end of the day they take with them an increased knowledge of the reef’s beauty and delicate environmental balance and leave behind no carbon footprints. The boat’s engine is governed to run at maximum fuel efficiency and no disposable service items are used onboard.
